Brighter 2 Morrows accepts most major insurances for their counseling services. However, it’s important that you check with your own insurance company to understand your mental health benefits and coverage before your first appointment.
Billing specialists at B2M will verify your insurance to determine an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for your counseling services. The EOB will outline your plan of action, coverage, and any out-of-pocket costs you may have for co-pays.
What to Bring for Your First Session
Please remember to bring the following to your first session:
• Insurance Card and/or Supplemental Insurance Card
• Valid Photo ID
• Cash or Check for Co-Pay (debit/credit cards are not accepted at this point)
About Your First Session
Your introductory session with Mark or Jeannie is designed to help you become familiar and comfortable with your counselor, help them understand your specific situation, and help you both determine a counseling plan designed to meet your goals.
Many first-time clients are unfamiliar with the counseling process. Typically it is not a ‘quick-fix’ patch solution for your life struggles. Instead, it acts as a process to help you identify your challenges, set goals to overcome them, and follow-up with your progress and any other challenges or problems you encounter along the way.
The ultimate goal of any counselor is to utilize effective techniques and provide the help you need. There is no set timeframe for this process. Some people achieve their goal in 10 weeks; other people remain under counsel for years.
